"Midwinter" Dinner-Adventures in Dining-Spring Picnic

While the Midwinter Dinner typically happens in January, we're still being flexible as COVID keeps us on our toes. In lieu of an indoor gathering during a surge, we'll be hosting a spring picnic outdoors after Daylight Savings begins to share time with RPCVs and welcome the longer days.

For those who are comfortable this will be potluck style. Please bring a dish from your host country to enter in the 'best dish' competition! (Other dishes welcome as well.) The board will provide plates, napkins, utensils, and some beverages (non-alcoholic per park rules). 

If you're not comfortable sharing food potluck style, please bring your own picnic lunch to enjoy.

The top three vote getters from the potluck will win prizes! First prize will be a framed, vintage Peace Corps recruitment posted. Second prize will be a piece of art depicting PCVs in Colombia, also framed. Third prize will be a bottle of wine from an Amador County winery.

There will be some outdoor games like soccer, Frisbee, croquet, and corn hole. 

Please bring a camp chair or blanket for picnic-like seating.
