Our Mission

Who We Are

The Sacramento Valley Returned Peace Corps Volunteers is a non-profit organization composed principally of Returned Peace Corps Volunteers (RPCVs), but is open to friends and family of volunteers, staff and host country nationals, or anyone else who shares our interests. Our 500+ RPCVs and friends of Peace Corps, across the Sacramento Valley, have served in more than 60 countries throughout the world. We are affiliated with the National Peace Corps Association, the nationwide organization of returned volunteers, serving to keep members in touch with today’s Peace Corps, and seeking to fulfill the third goal of the Peace Corps: Bringing the world back home. We distribute a monthly e-newsletter, coordinate volunteer activities, fund development projects, and organize social gatherings.

Mission
We support the greater Peace Corps community of Sacramento Valley through promotion of connection, service, and global mindedness.

Vision
A welcoming and understanding home for the greater Peace Corps community.

Shared Values
support, connection, global mindedness, and service
